Township Zoning Commission
Johnson Township Zoning Commission meets the 4th Monday at 5:30pm at the township building.
Meeting are open to the public.
Zoning in Ohio is authorized under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 519. Zoning is a tool that is available to Ohio Townships to regulate the use of land, the density of land use, and location of different types of development. As a land use technique, zoning can assist a township to implement its values, preferences, goals and objectives usually articulated in a comprehensive plan for a community's development.
